Coopacvod is one of the oldest coop's in Haiti and is the source of these wonderfully smooth, creamy and sweet coffee beans. This coop had the right idea years ago... take the Jamaican Blue Mountain crop and use this as the starting point on their estate. Since it is grown off the same plant as Jamaica Blue Mountain, it retains many of the beans characteristics (think smooth with a sweet finish). This coop strictly grows organic and shade-grown coffee only, providing the best environment for the crop.
This coffee is mellow and smooth with a creamy body, producing nutty flavors such as almonds, but with an absolutely divine buttery mouthful.. Just like the Jamaican Blue Mountain, this coffee has very low acidity, medium complexity, and a sweet and smooth finish.
This is one of my new top 3 coffees... the description doesn't even start to explain how impeccable a cup this produces! Go for a Medium roast at most to really taste the beans.
Roasted to perfection from Ultra-Light to Medium.
Custom Grinding is available for a per-pound fee of $3. After roasting, your coffee will need a maturing time of 48-hours before grinding. Better yet, save the $3 and put it toward a new grinder. Your taste buds will thank you once they taste the freshly-ground coffee each morning!

Always happy to take custom requests or questions. A perfect cup of coffee is achieved using roughly 10g of coffee per 6oz of water. Add more or less depending on your desired outcome. You can also use 2 tablespoons of coffee per 6oz of water. I typically brew 4 or 8 cups (which is 24oz of water or 3 cups) with 40g or 80g of coffee and it comes out great. However, if you like a little stronger brew, just increase it a little.
I roast your order fresh and only after you place your order (except for Ready-to-go coffees). Roasting & processing time will vary depending on the order, however, my customers love the speedy turn-a-round time (many times same-day).
If the order is for local pickup or delivery, I will typically reach out via email or text to let you know when I will be making a delivery. This is typically at the end of the day, but can be coordinated with me as well.
Orders being shipped via UPS will typically arrive the following day, unless they want to take their sweet time ;-) the shipping information will be was sent by email.
The typical time for roasting and processing could be 1-3 days.
Orders are only accepted from those in the State of Georgia.
